Lisa Lampanelli 4

Self described as “Comedy’s Lovable Queen of Mean” Lisa Lampanelli has one of the most successful stand-up shows in the world where the politically incorrect comic pokes fun at minority groups.

Her big break came at the Friars’ Club roasting Chevy Chase in 2002. Since then she has skewered celebrities such as William Shatner, Pamela Anderson, Flava Flav, and Donald Trump. Lampanelli raised over $100,000 for the Gay Men’s Health Crisis on Trump’s show making it to the final four and was asked to return for an appearance on the All Star Celebrity Apprentice.

She donated to the same charity again with her own money totaling $50,000 after the Westboro Baptist Church protested her gig.

Her comedy special Dirty Girl on Comedy Central reached number four on the charts and was nominated for a Grammy.

She is currently working on a Broadway show Skinny Bitch: NOT a Stand-up Comedy Show with Tony Award winner John Rando for 2014.

After talking to the lady with the potty mouth in the past it was good to find out what’s new on her plate this holiday season.

Jerry Nunn: Hello, Lisa. I haven’t talked to you in a long time.

Lisa Lampanelli: I know, riiight? I was just so excited to talk to a gay newspaper. I can’t talk to anyone else right before Thanksgiving except for the gays!

JN: You are coming out to the Horseshoe Casino here close by.

Lisa Lampanelli 3

Controversial comedian Lisa Lampanelli is coming to The Venue in Hammond Indiana with her in-your-face stand-up act. Known for celebrity roasts, writing, and acting the “Lovable Queen of Mean” tackles many taboo subjects much like a modern day Don Rickles. Rumor has it that she will be on this season of Celebrity Apprentice airing in 2012.

We talked Whitney and Westboro on a Wednesday from the Windy City!

JN: (Jerry Nunn) Hey, Lisa. Thanks for chatting on Thanksgiving week.

LL: (Lisa Lampanelli) No problem. I have nothing to be thankful for…

JN: Are you cooking?

LL: Hell no. I eat. I don’t cook.

JN: So no big plans?

LL: Oh, my whole family gets together but I skate out of there because I am the one with the career and no kids so I am allowed to sit on my ass and they serve me.

JN: Last time we talked was during that whole Westboro Baptist Church controversy where you donated $50,000 to the Gay Men’s Health Crisis on their behalf.

LL: Those fucking freaks.

Lisa Lampanelli 2

Comedy’s Queen of Mean Lisa Lampanelli is no stranger to controversy. The comedian often offends with her over the top insults aimed at minorities on her stage shows around the country. In Topeka, Kansas it was her turn to be offended. When the Westboro Baptist Church protested her standup act she took action by donating $1,000 to the Gay Men’s Health Crisis for every picketer that arrived. Nunn on the Run got her reaction right after the performance.

Hey, Lisa. How have you been?

Hey, Faggot, long time no see!

I heard about this protest, what happened?

I donated $50,000 of my money to the GMHC because of those inbreds.

So fifty people showed up to protest your show?
