Biography

Jerry Nunn has been crafting articles for over five years for Windy City Media Group. His strong background with music, theater, dance and BFA in Performing Arts add to his critical reviews of restaurants, books and shows.

Jerry continues to surprise from his first celebrity interview with singer Taylor Dane for Windy City Radio, to his adult movie reviews and gift guides writing under the name “Randy Pubert” for Nightspots magazine. This color glossy nightlife magazine has a circulation of over 8,000 plus online and in print.

His “Nunn on One” column has grown a huge following for Windy City Times. This Chicago weekly GLBT award winning newspaper has a circulation of over 25,000 plus online and in print and is one of the oldest publications for over 25 years.

Past interviews have included Lily Tomlin, Donna Summer, Art Smith, Kathy Griffin, Paul Stanley Cyndi Lauper among others. One interview alone was link to the WB website and garnered over 8,000 hits. Segments from Nunn’s interviews have also run on Access Hollywood and the front of page of AOL.

Jerry is the Entertainment Editor for ChicagoPride.com and is currently writing food articles for Basil Magazine and shows his love for Latinos with Gozamos!

His writing is expanding with new endeavors becoming published in Frontiers located in LA, The Seattle Lesbian and Out & About Newspaper back to his roots in Nashville.

Photography assignments have captured Barbara Streisand, Elton John, Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce, along with hundreds of nightlife pictures for Nightspots magazine.

Jerry has judged and hosted Windy City Idol, a Chicago LGBT singing competition and appeared on Windy City Queercast, the weekly podcast for the company.
