Dean Coxx is a straight man trapped in a gay man’s body. Coxx has his own successful website and he is up for several Grabby awards for his first studio film Jet Set’s Jersey Score that was reviewed right here on Nunn on the Run.
Jerry Nunn: Hi, Dean. So tell me about you…
Dean Coxx: That’s always a hard one. Other than being in the adult industry I am just a plain kind of guy. I workout, have outdoor activities, cook in my spare time and soak in the great weather in southern California.
JN: Do you do other work or does adult work keep you busy all the time?
DC: It pretty much keeps me busy. It is my baby so I am constantly e-mailing and making sure promotions are going right. I want to make sure the fans are taken care of. I do a web chat pretty much like every four or five days. I also want to do personal training on it and expand out a bit.
JN: Do you have movies out right now?
DC: On the website they are not movies more amateur updates. When an interaction comes out that is about three or four weeks. I did Jersey Score and did a shoot with Spencer Whitman and also Vince Ryan. Hopefully in the middle of the year I hope to nail down Benjamin Bradley and Roman Heart. It is going to take a little finessing but I hope to bring them onto the site.
JN: I gave a good review to Jersey Score.
DC: Thanks! It was a good cast and a lot of fun. We were clowning even after the shoot.
JN: There was lots of exposure for the film. It was even on TMZ
DC: It blew up. I was happy to be nominated for Best Actor for the film.
JN: Have you met any of the Jersey Shore cast?
DC: No, I have not. I don’t have any desire to meet them. I think they are a bunch of jackasses and really give the east coast a bad name. Money is the root of all evil but there is a difference between selling your soul to the devil and having your two minutes of fame.
JN: How did get involved in the adult world in the first place?
DC: It was really potluck. When I first moved from Philadelphia to San Diego bills were piling up. There was an ad in the local paper. I went in and was picked as the number one guy for a website and was thrown a lot of money. It was a no brainer.
JN: Have you done straight porn?
DC: I have only done gay because the straight stuff doesn’t pay as much and you are working twice as hard. I am going to do it on my website because I am the owner of it. I am going to split it up and do a straight part as well.
JN: So this is a job for you and easy to separate work from pleasure?
DC: Yes, it is. I appreciate all the fans but it is a full time job. It is like any other job, you have to put in a hundred and ten percent to do it right.
JN: What else do you want to tell people about your website?
DC: It is a fun atmosphere. You can go on there, get some laughs, personal training tips and get off. It is a variety show!
